Kelowna Japanese Language Society

This website was built for a Japanese language school and Japanese cultural heritage community in Kelowna, BC, Canada.

The client wanted a bright, fun, and friendly website that would make Japanese parents and children living in the area want to participate, so I developed a design with many illustrations. The theme colour is the same as their logo, and the overall shape and font are rounded to give a welcoming impression.

“We started receiving new inquiries through the site within a month of its release. This is a great way to show everyone what we do as an NPO and we get funding thanks to the website. The website is growing into a cornerstone of the Japanese community in Kelowna.”
